FAQ
FAQ
Where is iff coffee?
4-5-8 Minami-Aoyama, Minato-ku, Tokyo — an easy walk from Omotesando, Gaiemmae or Nogizaka stations. We serve pour-over and espresso signature drinks still rare in Japan, plus our own roasted beans and drip bags.
What does "iff" mean?
It's short for "if and only if" — A ⇔ B, each the other's necessary and sufficient condition. The symbol comes from the owner's philosophy textbooks at university, and from the early days of falling into coffee. The full story is in the Q & A on our homepage.
What kind of coffee do you roast?
Almost everything is light-roast single origin: Colombia, Ethiopia, Peru, Bolivia, Thailand, and Taiwan's Alishan. Our espresso is exclusively single origin (SOE).
What is special about Taiwanese coffee?
Alishan was long known for tea; in recent years it has begun producing small lots of rare coffee. We buy from 2024 Taiwan Cup of Excellence winning farms and keep five Alishan coffees on the menu — soon expanding to around eight. One of very few roasters in Tokyo with Taiwanese specialty coffee always available.
Do you ship online orders? Internationally?
